The software simulates operation of Mining Shovel EKG-10 including its original controls, which, in combination with the virtual world capabilities, makes training of mining shovel operators incredibly close to real work conditions.

Exercises:
Exercise 1. Controlling excavator attachments.
Move the shovel dipper to specified positions following the instructions.
Exercise 2. Driving forward and reversing.
Drive forward and stop at a specified point. Swing the turntable, reverse and stop at a specified point.
Exercise 3. Dumping the mined rock.
Dump the rock while observing the marked limits.
Exercise 4. Upward dumping of mined rock in dump cars.
Load mined rock in the specified number of dump cars using upward dumping.
Exercise 5. Downward dumping of mined rock in dump cars.
Load mined rock in the specified number of dump cars using downward dumping.
Exercise 6. Upward dumping of mined rock in a heavy duty dump truck.
Load mined rock in the specified number of heavy duty dump trucks using upward dumping.
Exercise 7. Downward dumping of mined rock in a heavy duty dump truck.
Load mined rock in the specified number of heavy duty dump trucks using downward dumping.
Exercise 8. Preparation of the work site and banking up the face base at the excavator and the work area both in normal operation conditions and in case of a wet or unstable face.
Exercise 9. Grading of the excavator track; trenching and ramping.
Exercise 10. Selective face development and mined rock sorting.
Exercise 11. Removal of remaining or spilled mined rock from the floor of dump cars, railways and drive ways.
Exercise 12. Handling oversize materials at the face (loading or storing as per rating data).
Scooping, moving and unloading of oversize lumps.
Exercise 13. Actions and measures in case of excavator assembly or equipment failure or emergency situations.
