Exercises:
Exercise 1. Getting to know the machine
Basic acquaintance with the controls and instruments. Mounting, seat adjustment, starting and stopping the engine, using the signal horn, turning on the lighting.
Exercise 2. Operation
Handling the machine controls prior to starting work. Dozer movement with detection of front and rear position. Placing attachments in correct positions for measuring oil level in the engine and hydraulic system. Installation of attachments on the parked machine. Elimination of incompatible actions during machine operation.
Exercise 3. Driving into the garage in reverse gear
Developing skills for driving the dozer into the garage using the reverse gear. The garage width is 1 meter greater than the machine width.
Exercise 4. Driving onto a lowboy
Developing skills for driving the dozer onto a lowboy. Drive the dozer onto the lowboy following the lowboy driver signals, lower the attachment and stop the engine.
Exercise 5. Driving off a lowboy
Developing skills for driving the dozer off a lowboy. Start the engine, lift the attachment and drive off the lowboy following the lowboy driver signals.
Exercise 6. Driving uphill and downhill
Developing skills for driving the dozer uphill and downhill. Developing skills for choosing movement directions and engine speed and setting the speed range when driving uphill or downhill (in accordance with the operation manual).
Exercise 7. Driving downhill and turning
Developing skills for driving the dozer downhill and turning. The training process for driving the dozer downhill and turning shall include a proper selection of engine speed. Developing skills for selection of speed range and skills for using the crawling control lever and speed reduction pedal (in accordance with the operation manual).
Exercise 8. Leveling a sand fill slope to a preset grade
Developing skills of leveling a sand fill slope to a preset grade. The surface must be as even as possible. The operator shall use reference points in a specific plane. The satisfactory result area is marked with green color while the unsatisfactory result area is marked with red color.
Exercise 9. Clearing the access way after excavator loading into a truck during stripping operations
Developing skills of dozer operation for removing soil spilled by haul trucks during loading. Clearing shall be done as quickly as possible in order to minimize the downtime of haul trucks and the excavator.
Exercise 10. Dumping operation of the dozer
Developing skills for dozer operation when building up a shoulder to limit the dumping area.
Exercise 11. Site grading with the dozer
Developing skills for site grading using the dozer.
Exercise 12. Collection of accumulated coal in a storage hopper
Collect all accumulated coal in a storage hopper and park the machine in a specific area.
Exercise 13. Pushing the coal off the conveyor as it arrives to storage
Push the coal upward to the center of the storage space as it arrives on the conveyor, be careful not to push the walls.

Free driving in a tractodrome.
